Head of School
Jon Fulk, originally from Ohio, recently returned to the US after spending 11 years living in Mexico City, Mexico. Since 2000 he worked at The American School Foundation (ASF), first as a teacher, then as an assistant Head and finally as Head of the Lower School, overseeing approximately 940 students, 700 families and 98 full-time faculty and staff. Jon holds a B.A. in history from The University of Toledo, an M.A. in Student Affairs Administration from Michigan State University, an M.A. in Elementary Education from The University of Alabama and has completed his doctoral coursework in Education Policy and Administration from the University of Minnesota. Jon has extensive experience with IB’s Primary Years Programme (PYP) and was instrumental in leading ASF through the accreditation and restructuring process.
