Thursday, September 29, 2016

We are excited to announce that EBI is a Girls Who Code sponsor this school year. Girls from grades 6 to 8 will participate in the club which will run for 24 weeks. Our coders will focus on three key objectives: Computer Science (CS) Impact Project, Sisterhood and Core4 Computer Science Concepts. Click here to find more information about the Girls Who Code Curriculum. EBI's club facilitators are Tali Marcus and Beth Nakamura. We feel fortunate to have found two mentors in the computer science field who are contributing to closing the gender gap. Please meet Tali and Beth:

Tali is in the Digital Technology Leadership Program at GE, a two-year rotational program, where she is currently working as a User Experience Designer.
